So, basically I had a great time in Liverpool, though my uncle wanted to eat all the time and I didn't want to do that, because I don't like to eat and find it a little annoying when food is talked about all day long.
Anyway, we were lucky and had fantastic weather, blue sky and warm air, almost no wind. Couldn't have been better in that department. Obviously Liverpool lost 1-2 to Wigan, which was disappointing and frustrating to say the least, but just being at Anfield was fucking awesome. I mean, asdfghjkl. Really.
Saturday we came across Alan Kennedy and Jimmy Case outside Anfield, here's me and the two of them:
I look drugged, but I wasn't.
Sunday I saw Martin Skrtel near the Liverpool ONE, but didn't want to interrupt his day which he was spending with his girlfriend. I'm not so much for walking up to footballers and wanting an autograph anyway, 'cause I don't like to be just another fan, y'know? No? Ok.
(I saw Norway NT's coach, Drillo, at the airport in Oslo yesterday but didn't get his autograph either.)
I feel like I've seen everything that's important to see in Liverpool, but still, it was far from the last time going there. Next time I'll bring a friend or two, and we can check out the city at night. ;)
Yeah well. Back home in chilly, rainy, windy Norway now.

No Cash, but King.
Today was time for PFO again, and I was looking forward to it because I haven't ridden with my group for several weeks! Besides, I was excited to ride Cash again, he's such a sweetheart even though he's a terror to ride sometimes, lol...
However, he was limping when I went and fetched him from the paddock, so I just had to let him outside again and go and get King (hence the horribly bad headline).
Guess the 45 minutes could've gone better, but we rode a little outside afterwards, which was great because of the beautiful weather! Spring is really coming to Norway.
I also got the Spring Collection by LaRedoute in the mail today, going to look it through later today and see if there's anything in there I'm going to buy.
Next Tuesday me and my best friend Eline are going for shopping!

Week-end.
Match-day tomorrow; Liverpool meets Arsenal at home. Agger is definitely out, and Gerrard probably too, as well as Johnson. Fucking shit, you know?
Haven't had the best week to be honest, tired and irritable. Now I want to buy a new horse! No! I can't! Whyyyy? I really want to try distance riding (or whatever it's called in English), so maybe I should ask Electra's owner if I can borrow her lipizzaner mare next year or something, haha... So I'm looking around at arabians for sale, saving them who seem nice. But I'm not buying or having a horse, so, this is purely for the fun of it, lol. ü

A couple of updates.
Last time I blogged about my life, Electra hadn't arrived at my school yet - she did, everything went fine, and she seemed to like it there. Then those who decide in the stable told me and my classmate (who also had her horse there at the same time, we worked together with the shifts) that a new horse was going to come, and one of our horses - Electra or Constance - would have to stay inside for half a day, every day for the rest of shifts.
This was, of course, not a good idea. Electra can't do that, she gets stressed up and eventually it's too straining for her feet and she starts to limp.
This resulted in a sweaty and stressed Electra when I arrived in the stable in the lunch, Thursday, and I texted her owner and asked if she could come and pick her up. She did.
The whole situation was handled in an extremely unprofessional way, and I am not going to pay them anything or bring a horse there again. Jesus, people can be so thick.
Then, after being very sick from Thursday evening - thus staying at home until next Thursday, when I went to school again - me and mum left for London, early Friday morning!
We had three full days there with Fanny & Sara, which we spent at shopping, the musical Wicked, eating good food, and me and mum went to Wembley for a tour. Fantastic stadium!
Sunday evening we went to the pub The Friend at Hand, in Russel Square, drank Guinness beer and watched Liverpool beating Brighton 6-1 in the FA Cup. We're now in the quarter-finals!
Here's me at Wembley:
I'm also a kind of god-mother for my cousin, which is turning one year old in April, and I bought the Liverpool away kit for her. Now it's the winter holidays, I'm on the pill for the first time, and in less than a month I'll be going to Liverpool!
Sunday is the Carling Cup final, Liverpool versus Cardiff City. We better win it!

A couple of hours.
There's only a couple of hours until Electra arrives at my school, which means that I have to go there and make sure she's put in the right paddock, make her food for this evening and find some place to put her things.
Ah, I look so forward to this; that is, I can't wait to spend over a week with the only horse that keeps me linked to the horse world. Obviously it's not going to be fun living at school.
But, and I'm glad nobody I know reads this blog, being at school enables me not to eat very much, which is good because I leave for London almost immediately after my shifts are done and I'd rather be thin than ... what I am now. That's a good thing about me: I can lose an almost incredible amount of weight if I eat little. (It's bad because it's very easy to gain weight too, but if I'm careful with what I eat it usually works well.)
Ok. I'll try and take some photos of Electra later some day, maybe tomorrow.

Sick... again.
I've been home for two days in a row this week; felt like shit when I woke on Wednesday, and decided to stay at home to make sure I didn't get any worse.
I wasn't better today, so dad told me to go to bed again. Slept for several hours.
Tomorrow I'm supposed to be going to Trondheim for some school thing, to hear about different universities and stuff, so if I feel good I'll go.
Forgot to publish the post-match post for Wolves - Liverpool will do that now.

30 January 2012
Today was the third time I rode Cash, and all in all I think it went better than last time, because today I managed to ride him in more of the right way, though he jumped in the air sometimes and wasn't always concentrated on me and the tasks I wanted to do with him. He's such a sweetheart though, there's no way I can be frustrated with him once I see his face!
I hope he and I are going to be a quite good equipage at the end of this school year.
It's also a week and a day until I'm up for my stable shifts again; I did it last time one of the last weeks before Christmas. This time Electra is coming to stay with me while I'm working!! I'm so happy, it's been way too long since last time I saw her.
She's coming this Sunday evening, and is getting new shoes Monday. So I'll spend some time at school on both Sunday and after school on Monday (shifts starting Tuesday) to make sure my baby's okay.
After I'm done with the shifts, there's only 3 days until we're off to London!!!!

Breakfast.
I'm home again today, for the third day in a row. Tomorrow I'll be fit enough to go to school, I hope. I wanted to go today, because the class was going to have a show jumping lesson - which we don't have too often - but I'm not fit enough to ride, sadly.
I've decided that I will lose weight, and then take it from there as I will gain some muscle kilos too (it's not like I'm going to look like I'll look like Marit Bjørgen). Therefore, I made a very healthy breakfast:
Not Nadal, haha, but a pear, blood orange and some pineapple + a glass of lemon juice.
And yes, I'm watching the Australian Open - it's the semi final between Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal.
Vamos Rafa!

New name.
I've been thinking about changing my name for quite some time now, little over a year, perhaps? Lately I've picked out the names I'd rather add to the one I currently have, and ended up with Nicki, Electra, Isis, Destinee, Jade, Willow, Danielle (which is a gorgeous name, but as I'm an atheist I don't think it would be appropriate), Ariana and Scarlet.
Now I've made my family rate the names, and the top four was Nicki, Electra, Ariana and Scarlet - I've decided to take Electra, which was the first one I wanted. Now I just have to send the form to the municipality and hope they approve!
Electra was a princess from Argos, according to Greek mythology. She was the daughter of King Agamemnon and Queen Clytemnestra, and persuaded (and helped?) her brother, Orestes, kill Clytemnestra and Aegisthus (their uncle, and Clytemnestra's lover) in vengeance for the murder of Agamemnon (Orestes was driven to madness because of that deed).
Electra and Orestes killing Aegisthus - the woman on the right is Clytemnestra. Detail of a Greek Vase from the 5th century b.C.
According to most sources, the name means 'amber', but some say it's something like 'shining', 'bright' or 'radiant'.
But the real reason I wanted this name was because of the horse that I'm so tied to, called Electra! c:
The following picture I shot in 2006 (I think?) and is of course Electra.

At home.
I decided to stay home today. Feels better to lie under my blankets and drink tea than sitting in the cold classroom and cough all day!
Yesterday ended pretty good, in the sense of me not falling off the horse. Cash had the week-end off, so he was quite tense, and so was I since I'm sick. We finished off in a good state, Cash relaxing in gallop and allowing me to do the same.
I'm really supposed to exercise on Tuesdays, but today I'm obviously in no fit state to do so.
I talked to the owner of my favourite horse yesterday, so if it's all right with the school I'm going to have her there while I'm working my stable shifts (lasting one week).
This is Electra, a year or two back:

Pneumonia?
I got sick when I was at my place in Henning/Sparbu last week, waking up in the middle of the night and coughing. It's grown worse every day, starting with only a few "coughing attacks" a day, but now I can't even breathe evenly without having to cough every other minute.
Very tiresome, to be honest. I'm afraid it could be pneumonia; I've had it before, many years ago, but my mum and brother are suspecting they've gotten it too so I should probably check with a doctor.
I'm at school, having lunch break right now. I don't eat at school, so I'm just in the library, waiting for class to start. I'm not sure if we're riding today, as we're going to listen to a presentation at 12.00 and may not have the time to saddle up and ride.
Liverpool lost 3-1 to Bolton on Saturday, obviously, leaving me in a nightmarish kind of state - I hoped it was a very bad dream. Yesterday ManUtd won over Arsenal, too, leaving me in an even worse mood.
Real Madrid won, though, but I don't care that much about La Liga.
I'm having doubts about going to school tomorrow.
Here's a picture of Xabi Alonso, while he was playing for Liverpool:

2012.
The new year has lasted for 22 days, and I think I can say that this year is going to be loads better than 2011. Last year I just want to forget, for the most part.
London is calling the 17 January, me, my friend Fanny and our mothers going to stay there for 4 nights.
School has of course started after the holidays, and we're on a new roll of PFO (specialisation project), the goal for this spring is to ride a LC program (it's dressage - I don't know what it's called in English, but it contains only walk, trot and gallop, making it pretty easy).
I'm going to ride a palomino-coloured Paint gelding, Cash; he's 9 years old this spring and a very cute horse.

The 23 March I'm once again on my way to England, this time to Liverpool with my uncle who's a Liverpool fan, just like me. We're seeing Liverpool vs. Wigan the 24th.
16 April it's Ireland with my class, we're staying for six (?) days.
Also, my family and I are going to France or Spain later this year, sometime between August and October! Almost can't wait!
In August I'll be starting my final High School year, and prepare to apply for higher education...
